As artists, we are all familiar with the need for inspiration and the fantastic feeling of when you truly are inspired. It comes in many forms and is an important part of any artists life. It could be a Drawing or piece of art that catches your eye, something in real life that gives you ideas for art or even a moment you want to capture in a story you read.

But what about inspiration for your life and how you live it? Well imagine how it feels to be inspired by a work of art and multiply that feeling 100 fold. When your truly inspired to live, you feel like you can accomplish anything!

Well, this morning I watched a talk from Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch and felt that same feeling afterwards. From family to dreams to purpose, if his “Final Lecture” doesn’t make you feel like you want to be a better person, I don’t know what will.

Interestingly enough, he also plays a part in the computer science side of our industry.
